The Ripple Effect

Writing by Samantha Pankey

Our influence, like a pebble dropped in the water, has an ever-widening, rippling effect upon the river. Drop a pebble in the water, just a splash, and it is gone. But there's half-a-hundred ripples circling on and on, Starting small but growing large, Spreading from the center, flowing out into the sea. There really is no way of telling where the end is going to be. On and on and then it fades. When the ripple fades you may not see it, but it never truly shades. It carries on and will continue to ripple. It is the small changes we make day to day that have the greatest impact. Everything we do, and everything around us, will continue on and ripple. Our impact is infinite, it is a ripple.
