"Our Kansas," a play on the of the way folks in Southwestern Kansas pronounce ‘Arkansas’ River, is about place, community, and environmental change. This documentary explores drought culture, the depletion of the Ogallala aquifer, and the disappearance of the Arkansas River in Southwestern Kansas in the towns of Cimarron, Sublette, and Garden City through the reflections of locals and the environmental and agricultural history of the region.
